The exterior of Munich's Allianz Arena consists of more than 2800 plastic air-filled panels, which light up in a wide variety of chosen colours.

The shape of each of the nearly 3000 panels is maintained and supported by four aluminium brackets, which were bent into their shapes from elaborate profiles.

This required each individual profile to be milled multiple times and then bent exactly to guarantee the optimum shape.

The nearly 11,500 aluminium brackets always had to be produced and delivered just in time. For this reason, it was not rare for us to add extra shifts to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
