As with aluminum, the same applies to gluing - light and yet robust. For this reason, more and more welding processes are being replaced by gluing.

However, gluing has other advantages over welding: no welding distortion, no tension in the material structure, no risk of corrosion at the connection points, and different materials can also be combined with one another (e.g. aluminum with VA).
In addition, high-strength Aluminium alloys that cannot be welded can also be connected.
This process technology is mainly used in aerospace engineering, in automobile construction and in the manufacture of commercial vehicles.
