Laser and sheet metal processing
New manufacturing options in the area of sheet metal processing in recent years have enabled a completely different way of thinking in various areas of design.
To develop these options for our products and customers, we expanded our manufacturing operations to include the area of laser and sheet metal processing in 2015.
The laser beam as a multifunctional tool.
Laser cutting as a thermal cutting process paired with state-of-the-art control technology provides absolute freedom of contour and design. Clean-cut edges, dimensionally accurate cuts and minimum reworking are the critical advantages here.
With our state-of-the-art machine facilities we can process sheets of up to 3000x1500 mm with the following thicknesses:
Aluminium up to 12 mm
Sheet steel up to 25 mm
Stainless steel up to 20 mm
Furthermore, on request it is also possible to process perforated plates, shaped plates and special materials (such as high-strength tool steels).
As a supplement to laser cutting, chamfering as a bending process is among the most important processes in modern sheet metal production. The strength of light-gauge sheet metal is increased substantially when it is manufactured with chamfers.
Chamfering makes many different forms of subsequent processing easier or even entirely unnecessary. Often, for example, a classic welded construction such as sheet construction can be made substantially easier and optimised. Folds, beading and stepped edges also present no difficulties for our employees and machines.
